The offline exhibition of the 134th Canton Fair ended in Guangzhou on the 4th. The reporter learned from the organizing committee of the Canton Fair that the offline export transaction of this session of the Canton Fair reached US $22.3 billion, up 2.8 percent from the 133rd session. As of November 3,229 overseas buyers from 229 countries and regions had participated online and offline, said Xu Bing, spokesman for the Canton Fair and deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center. Of the nearly 198,000 overseas buyers who participated offline, about 126,000, or 63.9 percent, were Belt and Road. A total of 117 industrial and commercial organizations participated in the fair, and another 165 multinational head enterprises to organize buyers to participate in the fair. More than 453,000 overseas buyers participated online. According to the briefing, 650 enterprises from 43 countries and regions participated in the import exhibition, of which 60% were from “Belt and Road” countries.
